I'd do anything for you

It had been a year and a half since the war has ended and everything has been going great. Katara and Aang had been going strong, Suki and Sokka are now training on Kyoshi Island, Toph had made a school specifically for her metal bending to teach earth bending students how to metal bend though she wasn't the most tolerant teacher but we all knew that. Mai and Zuko's relationship was going strong and even Ty Lee had become a Kyoshi warrior and I had visited them frequently.. oh you don't know who I am right.. no shock there anyway I am Takoda. I am a good friend of Zuko and the rest of the Gaang as well. I know I have not been mentioned but thats mainly because I had spent most of my days in the circus along side a great friend of mine named Ty Lee. Well yes I mentioned she had become a Kyoshi warrior and she has visited the fire nation quite a few times and the bond between us has never been stronger but there is only one well a big problem. I have been in love with the young acrobat ever since I had met her and I was willing to probably do anything to make her happy even give up apart of myself to do it. Anyway lets begin with this story. It started out on a hot day in the fire nation...

Takoda jolted himself awake hearing a man running into the room. It was one of Zuko's informants had ran in while he was sitting and relaxing with his girlfriend Mai. Takoda had been resting when he had arrived explaining that the avatar had sent fire lord Zuko a message. Zuko took the scroll and read it before it was noticed he had smiled looking back at Mai explaining to her that the gaang had invited them to the southern water tribe for they're first Moon festival in celebration of the war ending and to remember the sacrifice princess Yue had made to them to save they're home. Zuko saw it as a great way to make amends to the southern water tribe for the trouble he had caused but Mai wasn't as enthusiastic about it but then again she was never enthusiastic about anything. She had agreed to go with Zuko much to Takoda's surprise he was then given the scroll to Takoda asking him to fly over to Kyoshi Island to deliver it to Ty Lee and the kyoshi warriors he was sure that Takoda would enjoy seeing his old friend and Takoda accepted without any bit of a struggle. He had grabbed the scroll, ran outside and flew off towards the destination of Kyoshi Island.

Takoda could not explain it but he had always felt a connection to the young acrobat well maybe now he should start calling her the new Kyoshi warrior because thats what she was now. She had been a very good friend towards Takoda and had never attacked her even when they were suppose to be enemies. He had risked his life for her once or twice and Takoda told himself if he had to he would do it again without a second thought. It had taken Takoda a day or so to reach Kyoshi island but when he had he was greeted by the group with warm smiles. Takoda hadn't felt this at home for a long time and he was happy to be welcomed in just about any nation now that the war was over things had gotten better and Takoda was thankful for it. It was then a tall perky brunette had jumped from the crowd and ran over towards Takoda. Her brown eyes seemed to light up at the sight of her friend and he was more then welcoming towards her. She wrapped her arms around Takoda's neck and squealed lightly in happiness" Takoda its so good to see you what are you doing here..?" She asked eagerly not that she wasn't happy to see him.

Takoda found himself smiling at the girls eager behaviour" I actually came to deliver this scroll to you and the other Kyoshi warriors." He said gently as he gave her the scroll. She took it and briefly skimped through it before her smile had grown which Takoda found hard to believe" I am sure the girls would love to go but lets go ask them and see" She said before turning around and heading towards the Kyoshi's training hall. When he had gotten there he was greeted with a few hugs and a few pats to the head it was one of the reasons he loved Kyoshi island he had most of these girls to himself and being a dog helped a lot. Though Takoda wasn't one for multiple girls he only had eyes for one though he knew the chances of a relationship blooming between the two was slim to none. Takoda was offered to spend the night on Kyoshi island to get well rested for the trip back home not that he had to fly he was going to be taking a ferry ride with the girls. Sadly not all of them could come so it was more then likely just going to be Suki and Ty Lee tagging a long for the trip to the southern water tribe.

Later that night Takoda found himself rather saddened. He had realized that he had strong feelings for young Ty Lee but to tell her would be harder due to his species being what he was. He looked out towards the Kyoshi statue and begged for some sort of miracle but sadly he was not answered. Takoda sighed a little and rested his head on his paws and quickly fell into a deep sleep. Early that morning Ty Lee, Suki and Takoda headed on the ferry boat and made they're way towards the southern water tribe while travelling Takoda had informed them on what had happened when he and the gaang had been there what happened there and how Princess Yue sacrificed herself to save her people. They were there by sunset where they were greeted by they're friends who had probably gotten there a lot faster on Appa which would make sense do to them being there before Takoda, Suki and Ty Lee. Suki and Sokka seemed generally happy to see each other which was brief but loving and it kinda made Takoda jealous to see happy couples around while he was happy for them he couldn't help but feel like he was missing something in his life.

The day pretty much went by pretty fast with everyone preparing for the festival that night things went by smoothly. So Takoda had his mind pretty busy at least until later that night everyone seemed to be having a good time Ty Lee was dancing around with Suki, Aang and the rest of the group Ty Lee even had a few men at her beck and call which made a strike of jealousy zing through Takoda. It was just like that time at the beach he was growing jealous of all the attention Ty Lee was giving them and felt like stopping it but it was suppose to be fun right so he held back as much as he could up until one guy seem to take it too far and was making a move to grab her rear end. Takoda snarled and launched into the crowd letting out a vicious snapping noise towards the boy who freaked out and fell on his rear end. Ty Lee looked down at Takoda never had she seen him so angry before it was something she wasn't use too not at all. Though she didn't know about what the boy was trying to do she got slightly angry at Takoda's behaviour.

Ty Lee approached Takoda who didn't cease growling" Takoda enough why are you behaving like this its a party." Takoda stopped and looked at Ty Lee" But he-" He was cut off by Ty Lee" Look You did this once at the beach on ember island and I let it slide but not this time you have to stop being so protective over me I can fend for myself I don't need you fighting my battles for me especially when there wasn't a battle to be fought." She stated causing Takoda's ears to lower" you don't need me.." He mumbled making Ty Lee shake her head" not for this you know I can handle myself.. maybe you should go for a walk and cool off or something.." Takoda was about to deny but looked around to see people were staring at him appalled with his with his display some looked cross and some even looked afraid. His ears lowered even more at the sight and he looked at his friends who looked slightly disappointed in him. He backed up from the crowd and slowly ran off quickly away from the group never had he felt so embarrassed in his entire life well that wasn't true but this was so far one of the worst.

He soon found himself near the spirit oasis no one was there lucky for him. He sighed and found himself laying near the lake bed and sighed" How I wish.. oh I wish I could be able to tell her how I felt.. but lets face it.. a winged wolf and a human.." He snorted a harsh laugh" yeah right.. guess thats all its ever going to be is a stupid dream.." He mumbled before closing his eyes.
